I was given a tube fuselage and for the life of me can't figure out what is it. As you can see, all I know is:

Tube construction
Looks to be aerobatic stressed
Removable one piece spar section ?
Single Seat

About 30 or so years ago, I bought a bunch of J-3 and PA-11 stuff up in Circle Montana. Along with all of that stuff, there was a fuselage that looked almost identical to your pictures, except the back end was from a Super Cub that have been removed at the factory longeron splice and a bunch of tubing had been welded in the front. I asked what it was and the guy up there said the fellow that was doing the work on it was making a biplane out of it. When I first saw the picture, it looked like an identical twin to what I have, except for the vertical tubes on each side in the second bay from the front. I still don't know what it goes to, but just thought the pictures were so similar to my fuselage frame.
