I recently bought myself a copy of Jane's Pocket Book of Home-Built Aircraft (1977). Remember when the Jane's people actually covered homebuilt and ultralight aircraft?!?
Anyway, most of the planes described are old friends and acquaintances but there are a few faces new to me. One of those is a neat, attractive, A-65-powered, trigear, all-metal single-seater called the Jameson RJJ-1 Gipsy Hawk. Apparently, Mr. Jameson planned to offer plans by never did. Oddly enough, the prototype is now on dusty display at a small air museum in Israel.

What caught my eye was the mention in Jane's of the focus on structural simplicity, "light alloy angle being used to fabricate the wing spar as well as the basic structures of the fuselage and tail unit." Now THAT sounds right up my alley, but the Sport Aviation archives turned up nothing.
Does anyone know any more about the RJJ-1, especially it's construction method?
