September 30, 2014 - On Monday, September 29, EAA staff called Marsha and John Fulton, EAA Lifetime 32139/Warbirds 594364/Vintage 21420, of Covington, Indiana, to inform them of some very good news: Marsha is winner of the 2014 EAA Aircraft Sweepstakes grand prize 1937 Fairchild 24H Deluxe!

Why did it take so long to determine the winner?

I asked a couple years back why they moved the drawing from the last day of the Convention to September and it apparently has to do with the laws governing sweepstakes. Something about not having different cutoff dates for mail in versus in person.
