Amelia Earhart completed her around the world journey by landing at Oakland, California.
This Amelia, is not related to the one 87 years ago, other than in spirit. She is a Denver tv reporter, and flew a turboprop with an experienced pilot for the flight.
By the way, for those who have an extra $1000 to donate, Tighar may be organizing a new search mission to go to Denver and see if they can locate her.
