The Senate version of HR 3708, (http://www.eaa.org/news/2013/releases/2012-12-03_rep-rokita-medical-bill.pdf) which seeks to eliminate the requirement for a third class medical for certain aircraft operations, was introduced in the Senate today by Sen. John Boozman (R-AR), Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS).
The House version, introduced in December 2013, currently has 52 cosponsors.
