Hello EAA friends,
It's time to get ready for AirVenture - Oshkosh (http://www.airventure.org), and Cessnas 2 Oshkosh (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com) would like to extend a warm invitation to our friends in EAA to join our 9th Annual Cessnas 2 Oshkosh Mass Arrival into AirVenture - Oshkosh (http://www.airventure.org).
Those of you who have already flown our arrival and have camped with us at Cessna Base Camp in the North 40 know that our event is an unforgettable experience for every participating pilot, relative and friend. We encourage those of you who have yet to fly the mass arrival with us, to join us and experience the safest possible way to fly into Wittman Regional Airport (http://www.wittmanairport.com) during AirVenture - Oshkosh (http://www.airventure.org).
Each of our pilots trains hard to fly the arrival, knows exactly what he's doing and what every pilot in the arrival flight will do, thus eliminating the uncertainty and apprehension that many pilots feel when flying the Ripon-Fisk arrival. The icing on the cake is the week long party at Cessna Base Camp in the North 40, where we enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow Cessna owners and pilots.
As in previous years, we'll be gathering at our base of operations, Wisconsin Aviation - Juneau (http://www.wisconsinaviation.com/index.php/FBO-Juneau/FBO-Juneau-UNU.html) in Dodge County Airport (http://www.airnav.com/airport/kunu) beginning on Thursday July 24. Roll call for our preflight brief is at 11:00 CDT (UTC-5) on Saturday July 26. We'll have lunch as a group and start the preflight brief at 12:00. Immediately after the preflight brief we start engines, taxi out and take off on our way to Oshkosh. Cessna Lead will be touching down on the yellow dot on Runway 36L at Wittman Regional Airport (http://www.airnav.com/airport/kosh) in Oshkosh at 14:30 CDT (UTC-5).
