Did someone forget to post the EAA Radio 2013 Schedule (http://www.airventure.org/radio/schedule.html) (Coming soon!) ?

Not knowing what is scheduled this year, has greatly reduced enjoyment of EAA Radio, and has reduced listening to EAA radio to a random chance of hearing items that one might be particularly interested in.

The guys at EAA radio do a great job, and thanks to all of them, but this year, without a Schedule, there was no way to plan listening, and no information as to what to look forward to.

Little late this year, as we are now at Friday, but hopefully next year, a schedule will be posted and updated, during Oshkosh week.

Did manage to catch Hal this morning just before 9am EDT.
Looking good Hal

So, after No response, or posted "program schedule", I finally found a Phone Number for EAA Radio and managed to get an answer.

It would appear that despite EAA Radio going a great Job, and being a major source of publicity and PR for EAA, EAA Radio has to rely on the "Corporate Webmaster" to make and updates or change to the "EAA Radio" as part of the EAA website, including posting and updating the "program schedule".

Probably not the most ideal situation, but that seems to be the way it is - such is life in the "Corporate World".

Hopefully, by 2014, this can be addressed, so that however it is technically or politically achieved, the current weekly Program Scheduled will appear on the web.

Google Docs ? or some other simple way for EAA Radio to keep the schedule on the website up-to-date themselves.

Or, they could have provided us the schedule when we asked. :)

Well, hopefully they will next year ... but I suspect the schedule is subject to change, on a daily basis.

Hal is correct as always... While we had the best of intentions of getting the schedule posted pre-show, time got the best of us. A you may know, we were tasked with completely re-building our studio facilities from scratch. We were working on them right up until late Sunday night before opening. While our studio build was very successful, some things had to fall through the cracks and this was one of them.

While we are still streaming online year-round at www.eaaradio.net (http://www.eaaradio.net), one of our major "off-season" tasks is to better integrate our content with EAA's & AirVenture.org (http://www.airventure.org), and make our content more easily managed and readily available. Regarding the schedule, we have struggled with how to make this easily available. As FS-MP noted, our schedule is a living document and constantly being updated. We hope to implement better content management before AirVenture 2014.

Thank you for caring enough to complain! It demonstrates the level of interest EAA Radio has generated. We hope to serve EAA members and other listeners well into the future. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, you can email me at jim@eaaradio.net (jim@eaaradio,net).
