Have a friend on the ground at Oshkosh with a generator not charging. I remember there is a group of volunteers that will help. How can he contact them ?.

The volunteers typically have a small shed just to the South of the Vintage Barn; dunno if they're open pre-show or not, but there should be enough activity around the Barn by now that someone can point him in the right direction.

If this is a camping type generator, I don't know, but if it is an airplane, you might call or even better taxi over to the FBO.s on the north side next to the terminal . I had very good service on a fouled plug, prompt and fair price, from an A&P on call there. His name may have been John, can't recall exactly.
If not, I think there might be a note in the program about some minor on site aircraft service.
