Wasn't quite sure where to post this request. I know that there are multiple vendors at Airventure that sell paintings. Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend this year. A little background. My son graduates from pilot training in a couple weeks (ENJJPT - Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training - Sheppard AFB) and last week he was assigned a F-16 at drop night.

My daughter is looking for a F-16 painting to give him as a graduation present. If anyone knows of a source that I could contact to assist her in the search, I would be very grateful. Or if you see a vendor in the exhibit halls that may have military paintings, please forward their url, email, or phone number.

thanks,
bob

Hi, Bob; Sorry; carriage returns don't work in IE 10, so this will be all run-together. Contact the Lockheed Martin Recreation Area: http://www.lmra.org/ContactUs.aspx Use the general phone number. This is the main area in Ft Worth, home of the F-16. Unsure if you want a really nice print, or a true painting, but the folks at LMRA should be able to at least point you in the right direction - if they don't have it, they should know someone who knows someone...

You mean art like this - http://www.redbubble.com/explore/viper+aircraft+aviation+art?ref=explore_tag_refine ment

of this - http://www.aviation-art.net/vipers.html

or this - http://www.aces-high.com/pinfo/333

Try Googling "Aviation Art" and F-16 or Viper.

Best of luck,

Bob, there's lots of different kinds of aviation art. I draw aircraft illustrations and specialize in making them custom to your exact specifications. I have some very nice F-16's on my website at http://www.aerodraw.com.

I can add any paint scheme you like and I can include any text or information you want printed on the bottom. If a illustration is what you are looking for, I'd be happy to make one for your son.

congrats to him btw- I flew the F-16 in 2007. Is quite a rocket ship!!
