This link should answer a number of questions folks have had regarding food options during AirVenture:

Thanks for the heads up Zach. Looks like a local dairy will be upholding the ice cream tradition near the arch, good news! I recognize some of the big names (Subway, Buca, Papa J's), and others appear to be local places, which is great. Which of the local offerings are in your favorites?

Oh yeah, I'm going to eat good this year. Manila restaurant will be seeing plenty of me. Pancit, Adobo and lumpia. My mouth is watering

Hey, just checking to see if the fresh made doughnuts will be on the grounds this year. It's been a tradition to get a doughnut at least one morning during the convention for my dad and I and I'm hoping it will continue.

thanks
bill

Sadly, I believe the donuts are gone. They had become a tradition for us as well. Maybe we could do a donut "missing man" flyby. And remember when they were so fresh that they were too hot to eat right away! Already have a lump in my throat. :(

They may not be exactly the same, but there absolutely *will* be fresh hot donuts in the same places as years past. (They knew I'd resign otherwise... ;) )

 Gee Hal, is that all it takes to keep you employed?

A fresh donut or two once a year, and a little flying time here and there...I'm a cheap date. :)

I guess I better not plan on losing any weight either. This is going to be fun.

Thanks for the reply Hal. As long as the fresh doughnuts aren't Krispy Kreme I'll be ok with that. lol

Where will the "Camper Café" be located?

Where will the "Camper Café" be located?
Camper Café (Jets Grocery) G-14
On the 2013 AirVenture Grounds Map (http://www.airventure.org/planning/av13_visitormap.pdf), PDF Page 2
Look for the Gray Dot icon with a fork & knife in it.

Found it - thanks. Looks like it's the food concession co-located with the Red Barn - I've hit that before for pizza, etc. I was hoping it might be a new location further-out in Camp Scholler. I think if they would put a small food plaza further south in the middle of the camping in the vicinity of Stitts and Elm, it would be a big hit - especially if it served breakfast!

Is there anywhere that lists the hours of these places?

You can find that in the Visitors Guide, available for viewing online or download here:

http://www.airventure.org/planning/schedules_maps.html

But here are the scheduled hours for all food vendors (note the extended hours on Wed. and Sat. to accomodate the night airshow, etc.)

Hours:
Sat 7/27, 10am-4pm
Sun 7/28, 7am-7pm
Mon-Tues, 7/29-7/30, 7am-9pm
Thurs-Fri 8/1-8/2, 7am-9pm
Wed 7/31 & Sat 8/3 7am-10pm
Sun 8/4 7am-5pm (Times subject to change)

I'll ask about getting this added to the web site as well.
