EAA has graciously provided the ComCenter with the funds to upgrade the sound system. Over the past 4 months the ComCenter has been going up to Oshkosh and rewiring the speaker poles and getting the new speakers mounted. We setup the new system last weekend and fired up the line, the speakers are back up in the air with 2 200W full range speakers one facing east and one facing west. The sound is very crisp and the voice clarity is amazing.

We hope that everyone will enjoy the new sound system at Airventure 2013, if you have any comments please stop by the ComCenter and let us know.

Thank you and I hope to see everyone at AirVenture.

First, thanks for doing all that work, I'm sure it is a huge improvement over last year. Second is my question.

Does this mean no portables in front of the crowd?

That is correct no more speakers in front of the crowds! The speakers are back on the poles.

Funny, we park south down by row 90 just to get away from the speakers! Too much noise and you can't hear them during the airshow anyway! After 7 or 8 days of listening to them blasting it is too much. L
