I seem to remember in the past EAA posting links to required documents and procedures for registering etc a homebuilt aircraft, but can't seem to find that now. Do they still post that and if so, anyone have a link? Thanks in advance.

Glenn,
It's all there in the Homebuilder's HQ off the old Oshkosh365 website (which is still active). Here's the link: http://members.eaa.org/home/homebuilders/registering/register.html

Glenn,

I strongly suggest you pick up our Amateur Built certification kit. You get the data plate, Experimental Sticker, and an excellent step by step guide book that walks you through the process (with pictures to guide you).

Make sure you bring the RV-9A to OSH when you're done. I want to see it!

Thanks Charlie. I already had the data plate, downloaded the forms from the FAA website, called the FSDO to get the one form you can't download, etc, etc, etc. This is all because I didn't remember you guys sold that kit. But I would highly recommend others do get it from EAA, a lot easier and cheaper! With a little luck will have the -9A there next year, I am hoping this is the last year I have to make the drive, have driven since 1984!
