What model is the Collings P-51?
I was up at Loveland (FNL) looking at the Collings planes; P-51, B-24, and B-17.
The signboard next to the 51 says it is a C, but the stencil on the left side of the fuselage says P-51B .
There is a small plaque on the fuselage under the tail that looks like model C.
Does anyone know for sure?
A very nice day, if a little hot, the planes are great and there were some displays to honor vets and while I didn't taste the hot dogs and beer it smelled and looked pretty good.
