I think Jerry's van and "band" should be a part of EAA's collection. To me it is part of EAA's culture.

Jerry won't be here this year? If so, why not?

Retired. Told me last year that was probably his last.

With all the corporate displays at our convention, it needs some occasional attractions to keep it interesting. Displays like Jerry and the ornithopter are welcome variety. I know it's not a theme park, but a page of their entertainment plan could be used. They have street performers occasionally pop up to provide something different and unexpected. Who doesn't smile when they see Jerry or the ornithopter? Only Al qaeda, that's who!

Wow... He was a staple there. Always saw him, since the first time I came back in 93'. Even had a couple of his cd's.

New Jerry was just as good as the old Jerry!

I'm glad to see and hear Jerry on his corner every year and it will be sad when he decides to retire. I haven't seen his wife in the past few years, though. Hoping that she has just decided she doesn't want to come anymore, and isn't ill or has passed away.
