As I complete my Kitfox in 2012 I see how little has changed in some of our light aircraft. Some of those cub parts are reproduced almost exactly in my kit plane. A few things have changed in the ensuing years: fabric coverings have evolved, workers are more productive, girls have become women, wood has mostly been replaced in structural applications, yet the basic designs soldier on and are much sought after.

Thanks for sharing that, Janet. As they are finishing up the complete rebuild of a PA-11, I'm sure the mentors & students at 88charlies will find it very interesting. I know I sure did.
