Pully/Cable Guards?

I have been accumulating information on cable pulleys that I may be using on my Nieuport project. I can find plenty of pulleys, but cannot find any source for cable guards. Is this something the installer is expected to fabricate, or am I using the wrong description?

Yep. You need to make these yourself out of some sheet aluminum -- .030 thick material is fine. Your clearance between the cable guard and the pulley should be not more than about .050" for 1/8" cable.

I knew about the clearance. Thanks for the tip on the material to use. I have some .032 6061T6 that should work then.
