Some pictures of this airplane have made the rounds lately, but we hadn't seen the "first flight" video until just a couple of days ago. I'm not entirely sure what the question was, but I'm thinking the answer is "because they can."

I hope they don’t too cocky. Someone might start thinking about engaging in some fowl play.

I've known Roy for a long time. It pains me to say it, but... pun intended, Jerry. Pun most definitely intended. ;)

There are some seriously passionate EAAer's at that airport! The Midget Mustang in the background at 0:28 is
Daniele Beltrame (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001849064725)'s. Many well known YouTube video's of his airplane out there. It's a mini-fighter!

This has been on youtube for awhile, when I first viewed the video I assumed the Roosters' "nest" was in Europe, France or Italy. Zero's post confirms Italy. The rooster has been a favorite symbol used on shields and banners since the middle ages. I think there was a least one French squadron in WWI that used the rooster as nose art on it's planes. It's a very unique aircraft and keeps the EAA sprit of innovation alive for our friends in Europe.

Viva! Zero

Design only allows for two doors; nobody's ever heard of a chicken sedan, after all.

I dunno, Hal, I had to comb through my memory pretty hard for a pun to peck out on the keyboard.
