I know some of you are wondering if The Jet Waco would be returning to Air Venture. I am please to let everyone know that Jarrod Lindemann (based in our home town, Valley City, ND) would be performing again this year (2024). They just did some upgrades including a new fabric/paint job(Looks Great!) To be Lettered yet.. He does have a tight, busy schedule and can not make it to Oshkosh every year, but this year he is going to be there, so check the air performer schedule.

Different strokes I reckon. WAY too darn loud for me to enjoy. Always have my banded earplugs close at hand for just such an occasion.

Even though this aircraft is not 100% for the hearing sensitive, do like I do with the likes of the complete performance of the Harrier Jump Jet or the F22 Raptor. Simply plug your ears with fingers or install your foam earplugs. Almost every performance at AirVenture is loud! What I love about the Jet Waco, it gives you the audio stimulus from the beautiful sounds of it's Pratt & Whitney/Jet engines to reinforce it's varying Visual display routine in the Skies in front of us. If "loud" is not your thing, simply stay away. My Old ears love it.

I love that someone built it.......Its a really cool idea. And cool ideas should be built.
HOWEVER, its one of those things that I only needed to see fly once. But I understand that some folks haven't seen it fly yet, so earplugs it is.......

Still makes me laugh every time they do the "moonshot". Gotta be a heck of a ride.
