Haven't seen a mention in these forums yet, but aviation writer/Pitts expert/Bearhawk guru Budd Davisson has been named to the EAA Homebuilder's Hall of Fame:

I was shocked to learn he wasn't already a member. A well-deserved (and overdue!) honor.
