When I called in May to inquire about camping spots, I was told there were no disabled spots, but that I'd need to just get there early. everything was First Come, she said. I called again in June and was told the same thing.

Now I see in the Camp Scholler description, there ARE disabled spots.

Do we know there are? And how do we secure one of those?

thanks folks.

Hi Jim! There are a limited number of handicap accessible spaces in Camp Scholler that are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to camp in that section you will just need to let them know at check-in and they will escort you to that section. You will also need to have a handicap placard displayed on your camping unit while at the site.
Hope this helps!

Hey Jim, as of today the handicap camping area is completely empty, but it will start filling up. The Paul’s Woods bath house is on the north end of the area. The entrance to the grounds is just across the street and the Red One Market is about a 30 yard walk to the NW. Hope the additional info helps.
