Yeager's Gone

I lost some respect when he claimed to be the one who did the cold water test that showed the o-rings hardened and caused the gas leak and loss of the Challenger Space Shuttle. At the time of the investigation it was Richard Feynmann, a scientist and not a test pilot who made the investigation and demonstration. I am not acceptable to the SETP but have torn apart a F-100 Augmented turbofan in the Intermediate Maintenance Hangar at Edwards and have a BS degree in Physics. Aren't I the biased one! My father once bought me both his book and A.J. Foyt's as I had gone astray with Lt. Dave Bjerke USN and "The Flyin' Hawaiian" Danny Ongais.
