Been slow on the ol' group lately. Thought I'd post a picture of a South African Fly Baby, taken by Willie Bodenstein.

Have to post this one, too. This plane was recently completed by Jim Katz, a long time RC'er and retired airline pilot. He did a stunning job, replicating the paint job of the original Fly Baby prototype. Note Jim's N-Number is N502F, vs. N500F of the original.
I have a strip of original fabric from N500F, and sent a swatch to Jim to help in his painting.

Thanks for the eye candy. There's one in a hangar where I fly out of, been sitting for a while and I don't know anything about it. I thought about it, but, I now have a 150, so projects are out for now.

Beautiful! A very classic (and classy) airplane.
Thank-you, Ron.
