Ultralight or?
Curious to know if you are only able to fly Part 103 aircraft w/o a medical. Are there other alternatives???

Sure you have Sport Pilot that can be flown without a medical. They are trying to make a rule for small GA airplanes to be flown without a medical. It should happen in the coming year.
Welcome to the forum. If you are new to all this check out this free offer from Sporty's pilot shop for the new pilot. It will cost you 4.95 for shipping if you order nothing else.

Again Welcome and enjoy.

You can fly Light-Sport aircraft without a medical, provided you didn't actually fail your last medical, and you have a state issued drivers license.

You can fly gliders, powered gliders and balloons without a medical. Even if your medical was denied in the distant past.
You must self certify your fitness for flight.

If the ability to pass a medical exam is a concern circumventing it by flying U/L or sport pilot is not advisable-or legal. However, both are great activities if you're just trying to keep things simple.
