Phantom or Hurricane Owners look in here (carrying cargo)
My buddy owns a T-Bird Ultralight and we've been talking of doing some short 100ish mile flights to do some camping off the planes. The T-Bird is strut braced so is easy to find ways to strap gear on the aircraft for camping.
My bird is wire braced though and presents a few problems with space. Honestly looking at it I can only figure that I need to install tie downs on the fuselage for two barrel bags one on each side. I could attach those same bags to base of the lower wires but I'm hesitant to strap anything on top of them as I'm not sure how they would fare compared to a solid strut like the T-Bird has.
Pictured below is an example of my aircraft. This will give you an idea of where the lower wires come in at. Does anyone have any suggestions?
