I sure hope we don't have to experience "Sloshkosh II - The Sequel" this year!
Hal and company, how are the grounds right now? Hard, squishy, or just right?

?? I was in ATW a few days ago and it was perfect. Lush, thick green grass and dry. Is it still raining?
We have quite a storm moving through right now, but the worst is over and we're just about to come out the other side. As for the grounds? Why, they're just right of course! They wouldn't dare be anything else... And, in about 5 weeks, they'll be even... "just righter"...

Yeah, we had that storm over here in Marshfield starting about 3:00a through about 8:00a. It was a hum-dinger.
Sitting here tapping my toes in grand anticipation, ready to pull the camper over and get 'er set up. Come on calendar! You're moving too slowly!

There'll be at least one night/day with a 100% down pour during AV. There has to be, if memory serves me correctly, it's happend at least the past 5 years that I know of.
Last year was miserable hot...and it did rain.

Maybe if we get the rain over now it will be nice for Airventure? That's what I hope anyway, very damp lately.
I'm with you, Joe! Let's get the rain out of the system now, and clear up a couple of weeks ahead of time to let things dry out!

Just for conditions on the ground, I hope it rains until a week or two before the convention, and that will make lot's of green grass.
When it is dry and hot, the grass gets worn away and it gets to be awfully dusty not only with people walking and carts moving, but particularly when something big starts up and taxis out of a parking spot on the grass.
