The C.P. 750 Piel Beryl is a tandem two seat, low wing aircraft designed by Claude Piel (France). Fixed gear, tail dragger. Aerobatic as a single seater. Type first flown 1965. Only 6 known to be completed in USA.

History: Project first planned in 1968 by EAA member in Colorado Springs. Much completed work dates to early 1980s. Current owner has FAA signed-off records for three previous builders. Much of the big work is done. Current owner lost interest. In dry storage. Needs to be gone soon.
Parts included/work completed: 1960 Lycoming O-320-G engine, complete, believed never run, with mounting hardware installed, turns over by hand. Have original Lycoming order document. Engine is a non-certified “ground use” variant with CCW rotation.
F-86 fighter jet canopy. Custom fabricated welded steel fuselage frame, control pulleys and cables, dashboard, tailwheel and some instruments installed.
Dihedryl Wing Ribs, Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizer spars, Rudder, Elevator and Flap Spars (L and R), Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers, Rudder, Elevator, and Flaps (L&R), assembled but not covered.
Custom fabricated landing gear, aluminum fuel tanks and exhaust system. Propeller spinner (no prop). No wing spar. Several boxes of loose parts including carburetors, hardware, gauges, etc., too many to list.
Documentation: Large file with blueprints, correspondence and photographs. Previous FAA Aircraft registration cards by builders. Construction Logbook with inspection approval of flap assy. Etc.
Work to be completed: Fuselage skin, main wing spar, assembly, go through engine, electrical, etc.
Seller prefers new owner who will complete and fly this rare aerobatic aircraft.
