    homebuilt design

I have worked out the loads on my AC design. Now I want to size the material "aluminum". Are there any good worked examples of a step-by-step process in this part of the design? Does anyone remember past articles in publications on this design step?

There are tons of good books … mostly older than me, but … EAA has a wealth of them.

There are many, many books. It depends on what you want. EAA has many of these, many can be found on eBay, many are in EAA used book sales, etc. Yes, I am a geek (engineer) with a degree in aerodynamics (so the books are weighted that way. Let me know if this helps. Thanks, Ron
