    Nanchang

Just purchased a Nanchang cj6. Just finished the initial training and got it home.
I has been quite a jump from a c-172 to this plane. Lots to learn and get used to.
Have any of you flown a Nanchang and do you have any advise on making ownership more enjoyable?

So far is has been great. Lots of smiles and good times.
The only down side so far is that the plane gets dirty fast. It slings oil everywhere!

That is sweet! Never had a chance to fly or ride in one, but they look like a lot of fun. Where are you located?

    Im in Northern Nevada. KBAM
Not much around here so we have lots of room to play.
Been flying some more and learning more about how the plane handles. It flies nice and holds trim well.
Still working on getting the landings down. I tend to float down the runway quite a ways but touches down nice.
Steering on the ground it tricky.

I like the identifier, KBAM, haha. I worked on one once. The air systems were different than what you normally see in US airplanes.

I ran it out of air the other day trying to start it! We have a scuba tank to refill it with. You have to be pretty careful about how much air you use and how much is in it before putting it away when done flying so you have some the next time you want to fly.
