    Need help identifying this aircraft

Can anyone identify the aircraft in this photograph? The pilot in the photo is supposedly a relative but I have been unable to get any concrete info on make/model/vintage to date. Thanks in advance.

Can you scan a higher resolution copy? The engine & radiator installation looks similar to some that used Ford model A &/or T engines but I can't tell for sure.

The front windshield and other details reminds me of a Curtiss Oriole.

I think you nailed it. That's a picture from the Curtiss museum. Neat little place to visit.

Pretty rare aircraft. Nice bit of aviation archeology on ChampDriver’s part!!!

Thanks you very much! I’ve visited the Curtiss Museum twice and it is one of my favorites.
