Hi Jeff - I just edited your post so your (fantastic!) video is now embedded. Any time you want to embed one, just click the "insert video" button (that, anachronistically, looks like a couple of frames of film) on the toolbar. Paste the web address of the video into the box, and the forum software will do the rest. (Presuming it's from a supported video source - YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, among a few others.)

I also recommending pasting the plain link into your message a second time on its own, as some browsers / devices (IOS in particular) can't view the videos if they are embedded.

    Pattern Work in My RV-6A

My wife shot and I condensed about 30 minutes of raw footage to put together this 5 minute Flip video at my sleepy semi-private airport on a fine September day. She had her hands full trying to restrain Bubba our rambunctious Beagle in one hand and operating the camera with the other. All things considered, I think she did a pretty fair job.

I've made a lot of videos over the years...aerobatics (spins, botched hammers, etc.), life at the farm with the airplane, grass strips we've flown to, rides I've given...stuff like that. My favorite is photos of kids my husband, our friends, and I have taken flying over the years. We take a lot of Young Eagles flying every year. Love those smiles.

One thing I've always noticed about RV pilots--they all have big grins on their faces!

Great video and it reminds me of many of the Young Eagles I've taken flying. A VERY rewarding experience and I LOVE the smiles. I guess my personal favorites are of my grandkids when they were about eight years old and concentrating on the job at hand, as they held the stick. The rewards of 'giving' are shown beautifully in those smiles.
