    Relleumtdats Camp ground

Is anyone familiar withRelleumtdats camping area near the U/L area at AirVenture? I found it on Google Earth and itlooks to be a couple hundred yards North of the U/L runway. I know I have seencampers just across the fence from the runway and I don't know if that's EAA orpart of Relleumtdats. Anybody got a clue?

I think there are several private campgrounds in that area. None are EAA.

Thanks Bill, I am thinking about volunteering in the U/L area and figured it would be easier if I could camp right there.

I know several of the long time rotorcraft volunteers camp there, good luck.

It is not EAA as stated. I've had friends camping there and others who just parked there. It's very convenient (despite the pre-event hysteria, they didn't ever close the access there at the end of the diagonal road last year).
The only downside I hear is that they've raised their prices recently.
