Year Model to be considered as vintage at OSH

Just curious for Vintage parking. My sons 71 182 qualified but his 75 Cherokee 6 does not....now.

Here's the current and definitive list of categories. Technically, the newest, Contemporary, ends at 1970.

Does the 1970 cutoff date ever change?

It hasn't, and I don't know of any plans, but I'd personally think it's going to have to eventually.

The "Contemporary" cut up date used to be 1965 back when I first started going to Oshkosh back 25 years ago. It has been bumped up at irregular intervals, but I it has been pegged at 1970 (i.e., the date of manufacturer must be on or before December 31, 1970), for quite a while now. As Hal says, I haven't heard any interest in bumping it forward lately.

I should hear about it. I wrote the software that Vintage uses to look up eligibility dates by registration number.
