I think its GREAT ! if you don't like it you don't have to look I have a 13 yo and I promise you he would notice. If you bring your kids up right this will not or should not influence they way they view women or how they treat them they will be and are exposed to things everyday at school on the cpu playing video games probably far worse than a pinup girl from the 40's (mine does not have the time to be a gamer or spend much time on the cpu he likes working in the shop welding mechaniching on his jeep and other things in the shop )( And yes he has a jeep at 13 he will be way ahead of the curve when he gets his license he already has a little tail dragger time in his logbook ) I am sick and tired of the political correctness leave me alone and I will leave you alone if what I do offends you look the other way !!!!
Sorry for the rant had to speak up we all need to every now and then or they would completely take over.

What are you talking about? No, it wouldn't be OK. I told you where the "line of demarcation" is, nothing to find. Follow the instructions of the exercise I gave you. Can you do that? And then do what Ron said, POST IT!

So women shouldn't dress nice or God forbid a little bit sexy? Female friends of mine have said that they feel good about themselves when they know they look good. Are they objectifying themselves when they wear something that is not a burka? What about bathing suits which is the article of clothing the original post pic shows. Do you go to women and tell them they are not helping their cause because they are not wearing some old-timely full length swimwear. Let's talk about Victoria's Secret, a multi million dollar company that exists because WOMEN want to feel good, sexy and God forbid desirable. Do you write letters to them to ask them to stop selling their lacy/slinky goods. Men aren't forcing women to do this s. And as far as your 'test'. There is nothing wrong with that rendering and if that was my daughter it was HER choice I would be ok with it. It is not porn it is a painting that represents a tribute to an era.

OK, we’ve heard from the Old Boy’s Club. Any females out there who would care to opine?

Once again, what are you talking about? You're missive is so far out in left field your hypocracy and double standards are showing. Not a pretty sight.

Porn? Who's talking about porn? Apparently, you are.

I did. Check out post number 7 of this thread. I referrred — correctly— to those pieces of “nose art” as bordering on soft porn.
    You disagree?

It's quite bizarre that you think I'm in any manner agreeing with you.

"Correctly"?? By whose standards? Your Elmer Gantry view of things is truly spectacular. You wouldn't know softcore porn if it walked up to you and kissed you on your......

Wife says the pinup isn't offensive, so we have one Southern Redhead's opinion to add to the sample size of the poll.

Interestingly enough, she also said she wouldn't like it if I had a pinup on my aircraft, saying "I should be enough for you" in true Southern Redhead fashion. My wicked grin immediately flashed, because if I had anything other than a WWI type plane, I'd have a version of this photo painted up:

The discussion here is not that the picture is offensive-which it is far from-but that it is sexist.
