As a volunteer at EAA for 47 years straight, I thank You for the recognition. It's an honor to be able to do these things for the good of all EAA. I've done everything from picking up field stone in 1970 to... well... I don't know just what I like doing best. Anyway, Thanks!
As for the yodeler, I believe he actually flew west a few years back, so yodeling is his two and a half minute volunteer contribution every morning till we lose the sound bite.

I got my a plague from the VAA for my 20 years of service this year (to go up on the mantle next to my Volunteer of the Year trophy I got a few years back).
They appear to have several different tapes of the yodeller, including one I know well. The EAA put a video of him up a few years back and I captured the audio (having to time compress it slightly to get it to fit) and turned it into an iPhone ring tone. There aren't a whole lot of people with that one!
