Replacement 1-gallon header tank for 1940 Piper J-5A Cub Cruiser

At the bare frame stage of restoration, discovering a lot of things are getting hard to find. Existing header tank is severely corroded and patchwork of silver solder and sheet. Hoping to find either OEM replacement, or a legal replacement/functional fabricated header tank. Have searched Univair and Wag-aero, and internet searches. Ideas and guidance is greatly appreciated friends.

I restored a Piper J5A and used PA-12 wings and fuel system. I found a 1 Gallon fuel header tank made by Attlee Dodge. It was SCT'd for a PA-18, but I got it approved under a one-time STC for the wings and fuel system. It mounted horizontally against the inner side of the firewall. It worked well for two 18 gallon fuel tanks, it would also work well with a single 18 gallon fuel tank.
