In case anyone is wondering the decision on the 15 finalists from the 60 on the shortlist was delayed. Still waiting, but should be out this week, maybe. The finalists will be scrambling to get airplanes in containers in January with all the "stuff" they might want in the container. Getting an open cockpit airplane to Minnesota in January if I'm in sounds like more of a challenge than the Rally.

In case anyone is wondering, the 15 teams were announced on December 7(http://vintageairrally.com/rallies/upcoming/ushuaia2usa), but the rally departure has been moved to November 1, 2018.
I probably could have worked with that time frame.
Oh well.
Someday I'll come up with something profound to put here.
