Experimental engine display at Air Venture 2017

I have an experimental V-twin Honda four stroke ultralight engine conversion with prop to display at Airventure.
Wondering how to display it. I am an experimenter, not a vendor. No interest in selling anything.

I thought of setting it on a stand with a sign near the ultralight area and sit and talk to anyone interested. It could be run to make noise without the prop.

Any rules or suggestions about displaying a small engine?

Set it up in the 24 hour generator section in Camp Scholler.

Go to the Airventure web site and contact them. You may do better to call and get transferred however many times it takes until you find the right person. Or, send an e-mail request for information on what you would like to do. I saw one of these engines on a one off homebuilt several years. The guy had some of his buddies bump up the hp but at that time it hadn't flown. Sounded good and his design was pretty good I thought. Have you done any videos of what you've got?

I sent a message to EAA to see if they want me to bring it for an engine Workshop forum. Or ultralight forum. Seems the EAA thing to do.

Hi Bill did you use one of the new Honda 690cc engines with the one piece cylinder and head? I would think the UL area and without a prop for safety reasons would be doable. Call EAA and be persistent.

My engine is older GX670. Separate head, I think.
I am waiting for a reply from EAA about a tent forum at UL area.

Had a member of the FisherFlyingProducts use-group conduct a conversion with "generic" engine.
