    Oshkosh 2016 Foto Gallery

    Hi,

last year I had the pleasure to visit Oshkosh 2016 for the first time, the whole week. Also flew with the B-17 Aluminum Overcast. It was a most remarkable experience and I know that now I am spoiled forever.

I'm an analog photographer (medium and large format) and made many captures of the magnificent aircraft I saw, many of them for the first time.

If anyone is interested he/she can head to

and view some of images I took.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Thanks! It was mind boggling experience. I come from Germany and can assure you that I have never ever seen such a large, well conducted (and week long) airshow here on the continent. What struck me most, and I hope they keep it that way, was the accessability of the aircraft and crews. In Germany (and apparently in the UK and probably France) , everything is always 50 yards or so behind fences and there is no way to get close to anything. I also admired how well the staff worked together and the relaxed friendliness and discipline of the spectators. That trip was worth every dime and then some. I surely will do that again one day!

    Cheers,
    Mark

Nice photography and the direction the black and white takes us is, well, to the right spot.

You truly do have that artistic eye. I especially like the dog--clearly bored!

I have attended every year for the last 10, and I never see everything I'd like to see. Do come back!
