Defector Pilot to U S

A news story this morning, I think on Yahoo, says a military pilot wants to defect and is asking the U S for asylum. Not unheard of. but this pilot is from Afghanistan and much more rare is a woman. Yes, women are allowed to drive there. and there are female members in the military, but she is their first female pilot. He Dad wanted to fly she says. She does say she faces lots of resistance there, thus the request for asylum, and she is active in fight against Isis. She has been in the U S training for C-130s at Little Rock.
If she does succesfully move to U S, I m sure she will find some good employment opportunities, maybe with military or airline here.
Kind of a silly P S but the name of our theater here is ISIS, has been for decades.
