Hi all, just wanted to put our this bit of info. on a landing gear collapse. I built my Aventura Ultralight 16 years ago and have had no problems with it so far, but last week shortly after landing the right gear collapsed and I skidded to a stop inches from a tree by the side of the run way. The bolt that the landing gear pivots on had failed. I got the plane back to the hanger with the help of a couple of friends and found the other side bolt was deformed and ready to go as well. Luckily I didn't get hurt or damaged my plane but wanted to put a shout out to any other Aventura pilots to replace those bolts before they have a problem. Also if anyone had any suggestions on any other wear items I should check please let me know. Thanks Bill
