I still had mine on, both the Airventure weekly and the Seaplane Pilots corn roast, for several days after I came home. Felt almost naked when I cut them off.

Oh yeah, for a few days.
I keep mine looser, so no phantom for me. I kinda feel like I'm missing out.
one year my son wouldn't take his off. it finally disintegrated sometime in December.
