Thread: EAA Chapter 52

    Question EAA Chapter 52

Anyone know if this chapter is still active? Their web site seems stuck in 2010. I've emailed a half dozen, or so, people there with no results.....?

Here's their current site - they've definitely been active in updating it since we launched the chapter website program a few months ago:

This is what I had found: http://www.eaa52.org/
Hal, the link you have is almost empty. No newsletters, no minutes, last 'event ' was in August.....?

It's definitely still under construction, but my point was that the site didn't exist until the end of June, 2011, and all of the additional pages (Board & Committee, Newsletters, etc.) would have to have been added since then ... so it's at least newer than the site described as being dormant since 2010...

Sometimes these things can get confused - our club's website is under the control of a member nobody has seen or heard from in over a year, so we started a facebook page

Chapter still very much alive but we do pulse checks every few weeks to make sure. Like most chapters - aging out. Administration rights to URL locked away with no longer active member - dead end. Can't get to him to release .I was VP. then P will try to reengage chapter but much inertia to overcome. Yahoo site has only 20+ members - chapter has 69 on paper. We see about 30 at events. Many are not computer savvy - limiting communications. There are a few projects in progress but few current pilots. you may connect with me directly via private message for more information
