    1st Timer

Hello all! New here on the forums and just coming back to the EAA. I've had a membership in the past to support what the Association does and represents and now as a builder to be I've rejoined.

Will be arriving at Airventure Monday and staying until Friday morning. I've been wanting to do this for so long and now it's happening. My build partner, who is an A&P/IA is going as well. We'll be camping with a friend from work (he's attended every year since 1977) and his group.

I've recently ordered a Bearhawk 4 place QB kit which should be arriving late September or so. Oshkosh will be a great chance for me to be hands on with potential avionics and other components.

    1st post, 1st Airventure, 1st build. Like I said, 1st timer!

Welcome. Enjoy. Remember you can't see it all.

As always, the folks here are real nice and can give lots of great advice.

Thrilled to hear that you'll be attending! So many things to see and do, as LooneyBird says it's hard to fit it all in. If you're staying all week you'll be able to see a lot.

Thankfully you'll be with some veterans who know the can't miss areas. In addition it might not hurt to download the app to get a handle on all the events going on to plan accordingly.

    Enjoy!

Welcome back! Don't forget the Bearhawk BBQ on Tuesday night! I'm sure you've heard about it already, but as a new BHer, it's a must-go event. :-)
