One thing to say to Boeing...
I worked for Boeing when Airbus was just starting to dig into our market share. I think the competition has been good for both companies and, especially, the flying public.
What you didn't see during that long pause was the B-52s showing up with the bay doors opened, being escorted by F-22s. Not so silent now........ lol

Just saw this video and had the same thought. I give Airbus a lot of credit for making that video.
It's a little harder to track the origins of Airbus, but hopefully Boeing will respond in kind when Airbus has its 100 year anniversary.
Some of them look like they are in a hostage video !!!
