    Help Identify this plane

It has a wingspan of 30' and seats one cabin width is 24". The motor is a Kawasaki 440 a1 but the prop and reduction parts are missing.
The fuselage is made with steel tube and the wings are wood ribs and spar.
I was told it flew May of 2003 in Hurricane, Utah. It may have been built as ultralight but is a little heavy at about 300 lbs.

My best guess is a Preceptor N3 Pup or a L'il Hustler.

Both of these look really close but I think the Lil Hustler is a two place and the Preceptor N3 Pup has aluminum wing ribs instead of wood.

Maybe a Hipps Reliant or fastback J-3 Kitten.

I think you might be right. All the measurements I checked are the same. Now I need to find some plans and double check them.

    Thanks
