    EAA Sponsors

I always get these emails to follow this person or that person on Twitter. The one that came today is for @fordairventure. Interesting.

I assume you're talking about the annoying thing Twitter itself sends out. I shut those off long ago. The only time I've ever twitted was to test some iphone apps for a book I was doing the tech review on.

Yeah, I give some thought to buying a Ford after Airventure. I like the 'BOSS' Mustang.

Hey, I did buy a CB1100 Honda that I first noticed at the Honda tent at Airventure. Back in the day I had a CB-750, 1971 model. It's a good day when I ride my CB-1100 to the airport for a flight.

John Deere has a one time discount for EAA members. I used it when I purchased an X300 lawn mower. IIRC, it was 7%, so it covered the sales tax.

Just to confirm, those are not sent by EAA but by Twitter based on who you follow, or interests you exhibit through the platform.

I just have turned them off in my settings.

    Best,
