    A curious weapon

I found this site an interesting report with some curious photographs showing a Spitfire of the RAF carrying beer kegs under the wings. I've never seen this. Can anyone tell what the purpose of it ? To see these curious and unbelievable photos, visit the link below: http://aviacaoemfloripa.blogspot.com...o-curioso.html Best Regards!

Seems I recall hearing something about this... not an official operation, just some clowns in the RAF who filled the kegs with sewage and then dropped them over the enemy.

Let's just say it was a warm, sticky fluid. For an English airplane, that covers all the bases...

Why is this a problem? Is it not aviation related? I found it fascinating.
