BTW, what are the guys in the lower right ("Dec 26th") looking at? It looks like a pall of smoke, but they're smiling....

Love the old military cartoonists; Rarey, Bairnsfather, Osborn, and especially Mauldin. This is one of my favorites by Mauldin...the caption says says, “Corp’l Ginnis ‘an his Very pistol will now contribute th’ Star ‘o Bethlehem.”
