Good point, planning on LSA for now, as I had an aneurism some years ago (obviously survived it, but awaiting a doc's comment on that now to see if it would be a non-event or something that would keep me from getting my Private), and brain events tend to be a red flag. Will post what the doc finds. Common sense would say "no problem" as it was fully repaired, but the doc will let me know how the FAA will view it. I am proceeding getting tail dragger dual anyway, as that is the direction I wish to go. It will benefit me whichever course I choose. Many thanks on the comments!
and I found my old log book too!

The Taylorcraft is a fun little girl to dance with, on the ground and in the air She'll definitely teach you what to do with your feet! She's a bit cozy, but not bad for receiving dual in, provided your instructor isn't super-sized and the heat and humidity aren't too high. May as well forgo the medical and just go LSA. If you blow the 3rd class medical, it eliminates you from LSA, too.
