Help! Tell us what you've built/restored!

    Hi everyone -

One of the things I've taken on in my new role as Senior Editor is the "What Our Members are Building/Restoring" section of Sport Aviation magazine, and I'm running a little light on submissions.

If you've completed a homebuilt or a restoration project and haven't been featured in the magazine, please let me know! Even if it's something you finished a couple of years ago, these stories are timeless, and I want to tell them.

Please email me at: editorial@eaa.org with:

    • Clear, uncluttered, high-res photo(s) of your finished aircraft. In-progress photos are welcomed for longer stories - see next bullet.
    • An essay in your own words about the project, minimum of 200 words, or 700 - 800 words if you'd like to submit a longer story.
    • The attached questionnaire, filled out - this is optional, but it helps some people structure their story.

If you know of other projects we haven't featured, let me know about those, too - leads are welcomed!

    Thanks everybody -

    Hal

Send stuff in people! Otherwise he will track you down! If you don't believe me, check pg 82 of December's Sport Aviation! He's relentless!!!

I have a 7AC restoration project that I'm working on, but it's a long way from completion. Not much to show except wings and fuselage on saw horses.
I'll send something in when it's finished.

Can't wait to see it - I've always loved Champs! There's a Champ in January's issue done by a good friend of mine. Hope that provides a little inspiration!

Perhaps if Frank would have hired an administrative assistant to do all of his postings he would have been done with his plane by now. Just thinking out loud.... Lol

Bumping this one back up to the top - we could really use some more submissions, so, if we haven't featured your project, send us your story!

    Thanks!

I have a Mini-max that I built from plans back in 1994. I started with a Kawasaki 440 but later changed to Hirth 2704. Nice flying airplane.
